02 Nov WildAire comes to Denver
WildAire is pouring in Denver with our YCAVA friends!
The Yamhill Carlton American Viticultural Area, home to many Oregon wine industry pioneers and the oldest soils in the Willamette Valley, is coming to Denver! Join 10 wineries for a memorable tasting experience on November 3rd from 6-8pm at the JW Marriott Denver Cherry Creek. The producers will be pouring wine all exclusively made from Y-C AVA fruit, concentrating on Pinot noir, as well as a small selection of other varietals. Learn firsthand about Oregon’s geology and climate and what makes the wine so alluring, complex and age worthy. While you sip, enjoy delectable bites that complement the world-class wines from Second Home Kitchen + Bar, Denver. Second Home’s Executive Chef, David Anderson, has strong roots in the Oregon culinary industry. He went on to earn the title of Iron Chef of Oregon in 2011 during his tenure there. Although Anderson now calls Denver home, he is excited to help bring a taste of Oregon to the Mile-High City with the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. If you like what you taste & want these wines in your own cellar, retailer Argonaut Wine & Liquor will be available onsite at our event to take your wine orders!
